150 people charged with attacking US Congress face up to 20 years in prison
A total of 150 people have been charged in connection with the attack on the Capitol Hill building during a US congressional hearing about Biden’s victory in the presidential election.

The rioters have been charged with other serious offenses, including assaulting police and disrupting parliamentary proceedings, and could face up to 20 years in prison.

According to the Justice Department, investigations are underway against more than 400 people accused of attacking parliament.
