Appreciates Pakistan’s efforts to meet FATF points: US
Washington: The United States has appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to meet FATF points.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a briefing that he appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to meet the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) points.

“Pakistan has implemented 26 of the 27 points, and we encourage Pakistan to work with the world to complete the remaining points as soon as possible,” the State Department spokesman said.

Ned Price added that Pakistan should take steps to curb terrorist financing and expedite the implementation of the FATF Action Plan.

The spokesman said that all the neighboring countries of Afghanistan including Iran and Pakistan have a role to play for peace.
