New Delhi: Farmers’ protests in India have intensified, with preparations for the January 26 tractor march towards Delhi entering its final phase. Frightened Modi government has canceled Haryana Police holidays.
It may be recalled that the farmers have announced a tractor march on January 26, the so-called Republic Day of India. Farmer leaders say they will not accept controversial laws under any circumstances. It should be noted that Indian farmers have been protesting against the controversial agricultural laws since November 26. So far, more than 70 farmers have lost their lives during the protests
