India could attack Pakistan by accusing it of provocation, US report
Washington: The US intelligence report has revealed that the Indian Prime Minister can use force by falsely accusing Pakistan of provocation.
According to the Dawn newspaper, the US Director of National Intelligence has sent to Congress the “Annual Risk Assessment Report 2021” which revealed that Narendra Modi could use force on Pakistan and Can also be falsely accused of provocation.
The US intelligence report also said that there was still a risk of escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed countries over Kashmir, but that a general war between India and Pakistan was unlikely this year.
Earlier, an intelligence report released to the US Congress had revealed that there was a possibility of a war between Pakistan and India in five years.
The US intelligence report called China, Russia and Iran a threat to US interests, respectively, and ruled out a peace deal between the Afghan government and the Taliban this year.
