Washington: US President Joe Biden has said that the decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan was the right one and there is no shame in this decision.

Addressing the American people after the Taliban took control of Kabul, President Joe Biden said that he had advised Ashraf Ghani to negotiate with the Taliban but he flatly refused and said that the Afghan army would fight the Taliban but Obviously they turned out to be wrong.

“We gave everything to the Afghan army but could not give them the courage to fight.”

The US President said that why the US Army fought a battle which the Afghan Army did not want to fight. The Afghan leaders lost heart and fled the country. We gave everything to the Afghan army but could not give them the courage to fight.

Joe Biden said that the decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan was the right one and that he was not ashamed of the decision. That’s the decent thing to do, and it should end there.
