Russia has no plans to change the government, the United States said
JERUSALEM: The US State Department has rejected any plan to change the government in Russia.
In a press conference on the sidelines of a visit to occupied Jerusalem, Secretary of State Anthony Blanken made it clear that the United States had no plans to change the government in Russia or elsewhere.
A day earlier, President Joe Biden had said that Russian President Vladimir Putin could not stay in power for long.

Explaining the US president’s statement, Anthony Blanken said that the president had simply said that Vladimir Putin could not be allowed to wage war against Ukraine.
On the other hand, the Kremlin rejected President Joe Biden’s statement, saying that it was up to the Russian people to choose their leader.
