The Saudi government has decided to allow women to join the army.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Defense, aspiring women can apply to join the army on the online portal.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense said women could apply for recruitment to the Saudi Army, Air Force, Navy and other agencies.

The Ministry of Defense says women must be between the ages of 21 and 40 and 155 centimeters tall.
