US and Japan agree to work together against Chinese influence in the region
TOKYO: US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumo Kishida agreed to work together against China’s growing influence in the region.
According to the international news agency, US President Joe Biden arrived in Japan on a two-day visit to Asian countries where he was received by Prime Minister Fumio Kashida. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest.
On the occasion, US President Joe Biden said that Japan is an important world leader and is fully committed to its defense. The Japanese Prime Minister expressed happiness that despite the war in Ukraine, Biden wanted to further increase his interest and commitment in the Indo-Pacific region.
