US announces 55 55 million aid to Afghanistan earthquake victims
Washington: The United States has announced کروڑ 50 million in aid for the victims of the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan.
According to the international news agency, US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken, while announcing 55 million aid for the earthquake victims of Afghanistan, said that the Afghan people have now received more than 770 million dollars.
The US Secretary of State said that the humanitarian aid would not be given to the Taliban government but would be delivered to the Afghan people through NGOs working in Afghanistan.
The State Department said in a statement that the relief supplies would include clean drinking water, a balanced diet and hygiene supplies.
A 6.5-magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan last week killed 1,150 people and injured 1,600 while millions went missing.
