US: White House calls Taliban cooperative and professional
US: The White House has called the Taliban “cooperative” and “professional.”
The White House said in a statement on Thursday that US citizens and legally permanent residents were allowed to leave Kabul on a Qatar Airways charter flight. Has been described as ‘collaborative’ and ‘professional’.

Emily Horn, a spokeswoman for the National Security Council, said the Taliban had shown flexibility and that this was a positive first step.
A Qatar Airways flight carrying about 200 passengers, including American and British nationals, arrived in Doha on Thursday night.
The White House also thanked Qatar for facilitating the safety of charter flights.
